- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: The UK operate within the World Customs Organization (WCO) Harmonized System (HS), the worldwide system for uniform classification of goods. The UK is aware that another WCO member, the European Union (EU) classifies similar Hook and Loop tape Commodity Code 5806329000. I have therefore taken this into account when reaching my decision, to ensure the HS is applied consistently amongst WCO members. General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 5806 - narrow woven fabrics, other than goods of heading 5807; narrow fabrics consisting of warp without weft assembled by means of an adhesive (bolducs) GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 580632 – other woven fabrics, of man-made fibres. 8 Digit Code: 58063290 - other than with real selvedges.
