Description
The machine is a fully automated multipurpose diffractometer cabinet. The radiation enclosure is equipped with wide doors for easy access. The diffractometer has a system controller and electronics rack with two 19" rack positions for additional electronics (e.g. non-ambient controllers). It has Multicore optics featuring ICOre and Dcore, Which allows a large variety of measurements without any manual intervention. The diffractometer cabinet is equipped with a 240 mm radius theta-theta goniometer and a source module for Empyrean X-ray tubes. The emission level is below 1 microSievert per hour on 10 cm distance. It has data acquisition software included that is based on the XRDML data platform, measurement strategy determination tools, configuration and measurement management, automatic processing, data conversion and viewing functionality for X-ray diffraction systems.

Justification
