- Description
- A multipurpose diffractometer package featuring iCore and dCore optical modules. It can perform a large variety of divergent-, parallel-, and micro-beam measurements with automated control of optics. The radiation enclosure has large radiation-safe windows and wide doors for easy ergonomic access. This system meets stringent regulations on X-ray, electrical, and mechanical safety. The iCore is tuned for Co anode X-ray tubes, which are included. The package also features the PIXcel3D detector that supports 0D, 1D, and 2D measurements. This detector is based on the Medipix3 hybrid pixel technology codeveloped with CERN. The software for the machine includes: Data Collector data acquisition software with multi-user management and automatic data processing architecture Data Viewer software to view and compare multiple data sets, measure basic peak statistics, and batch convert data XRD2DScan for treatment and analysis of 2D data PANViewer for management of 2D data Data is saved in openly-documented XML file structure.
