- Description
- Product is a polyester sponge mop head that will be attached to a handle (not included) for manual floor cleaning. The sponge is made to resemble a sea sponge but it is 100% polyester. The sponge head has a zinced steel channel which will attach it to the handle. There are two different sizes of the sponge mop heads, 32 cm long (which will be sold individually and in packs of 6) and 28cm long (which will only be sold individually). They will be packaged in a plastic bag and sold to retail and janitorial markets.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect- a. GIR 5b - has been used to identify the type of packaging as individually packaged in a plastic bags and sold in sets of 1 and 6. GIR 6 - has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 960390 Other than elsewhere specified 8 Digit Code 96039099 Other than hand operated mechanical floor sweepers, not motorised; other than road-sweeping brushes; household type brooms and brushes, including shoe brushes and clothes brushes; brushes for grooming animals.
