Description
A roof mount bar with a construction of powder coated aluminium, with ABS plastic end caps at the end. It has fasteners attached which are made of stainless-steel. It is designed for securing a dual antenna to a roof of a motor vehicle. The roof mount provides a robust, simple-to-fit, and easily configurable mounting solution that is suitable for vehicles with glass, aluminium, composite, or non-planar roofs via its four-legged vacuum mounting arrangement. The dual antenna roof mount comes in two one-metre lengths that offer pre-set antenna separation configurations of 1 m or 2.05 m for a selection of puck or pinwheel antennas and is supplied with ground planes for use with the puck antennas. It is compatible with all the companies automotive GNSS-aided navigation system products and is suitable for any dynamic test that requires dual antenna precision. It helps to achieve and maintain system accuracy during automotive testing. The dual antenna roof mount can be mounted either laterally or longitudinally on the test vehicle. Combined with its adjustable suction cups, which are made of nitrile rubber it gives the flexibility needed to fit a wide range of roof types, shapes, and sizes. It has been designed to enable a quick and accurate dual antenna installation, with the predetermined separation locations providing the measurements for entry into configuration software. The dual antenna roof mount comes with ratchet straps, for additional mounting security, and is easily portable its own carry bag.
