Description
Dissolvable String made from man-made staple fibres of Polyvinyl-Alcohol (PVA). The string can be used to tie off items, commonly used by Anglers to tie off PVA bags, or boilies, pellets etc. when fishing. The PVA string dissolves in the water leaving the bait by the angler's hook which acts as an attractant to bring in fish. 20m PVA string comes on a plastic spool.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect- a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (reg 3 (1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section of chapter of the Goods Classification Table (reg 3(1)(b)). General Interpretative Rules (GIRs): GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading - 5511 - Yarn (other than sewing thread) of man-made staple fibres, put up for retail sale GIR 5B has been used to identify the type of packaging - comes on a plastic spool GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading level - 551110 - Of synthetic staple fibres, containing 85% or more by weight of such fibres Also classified in accordance with:- Section notes 3 and 4 to Section XI Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSENs) to heading 5511
