- Description
- NGLAV Transmission is a prototype gearbox which is used in a Land Army Vehicle. The gearcase is a large aluminium steel cast which is then machined assembly. This is a housing for all of the internal rotating transmission parts, such as gears and shafts. It is also functional requirements including maintaining the integrity of transmission by supporting the gears, shafts, bearings and other components. This product is made up from 47 individual parts which are assembled together, once this has been done it is then further worked. The gearcase has 4 major individual parts which are gearcase front, gearcase rear, gearcase lid and gearcase torque converter housing.
