- Description
- The product is a tube designed specifically to fit into low volume micro centrifuges, used in research laboratories. The tube is precision moulded from research grade inert polypropylene. It comes in three capacities, 0.5ml, 1.5ml and 2.0ml. It's engineered to withstand forces up to 20,000 g. This is required to concentrate microgram biological samples, such as DNA. The tubes have a highly uniform wall thickness in order to distribute the centrifugal forces evenly. They withstand extremes in temperature down to -80°C in order to withstand storage long term samples. The tubes have either a flip cap or a screw cap lid. They are supplied in bulk packs of either 5,000pcs or 10,000pcs.
