Description
Gas fired furnace as part of fusion equipment for XRF analysis, comprising crucibles for containing the samples to be heated, containers for collecting the samples, switches and a control panel. The system can produce up to 3 glass discs at a time. It has a automatic spark ignition to operate. Runs on propane or any other liquid petroleum gas. There are 3 positions allowing up to 3 samples to be processed at any one time. In normal operation the user places samples into the crucibles for heating together with the glass, they are then heated to melting point for a set time. Justification
