- Description
- A Standard Hanger with Loop End Fixing made up of a zinc wire joiner and tensioning device together with a length of steel wire rope with diameter of 1.5 - 6mm that has been cut to length and looped in-house on specially designed machines. The Standard Hanger with Loop End Fixing system is designed for the fast installation of a variety of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, lighting and acoustic suspensions from ceilings, walls, or existing suspended building services. The Standard Hanger with Loop End Fixing system has load ratings of up to 325kg with a 5:1 safety factor. The system is used for installation of the applications detailed above. It can be installed up to 6 times faster than traditional hanging systems such as threaded rod or chain because of the design of the unique zinc fastener. It is the unique locking feature of the fastener that brings the system together. The position of the fastener can be adjusted quickly and easily using a specially designed setting key to release the locking mechanism, allowing the user to adjust the height of the installation with ease. There are three components to the Gripple Standard Hanger with Loop End Fixing System: 1) The fastener, made from zinc – the zinc ingot is bought and then die cast in house 2) Steel wire rope (of 1.5 - 6mm diameter) which is bought in on large reels and then cut, fused and processed in-house on bespoke machinery to meet specific application requirements 3) Steel Ferrule used to crimp the loop end fixing in place. This is also processed in house It is designed to allow for quicker installation on site, and has wire of specific diameters fed through it, which, when used in conjunction with the correct end-fixing, allows the user to suspend a variety of applications from the ceiling, roof, wall or from existing suspended building services. The unique safety locking mechanism of the holds the wire in place and prevents the wire from coming back out unless a release key is used. It can be adjusted quickly and easily using a setting key to release the mechanism, allowing the user to adjust the height of the installation with ease. The Gripple Fastener can be adjusted quickly and easily using a setting key to release the Gripple fastener mechanism, allowing the user to adjust the height of the installation with ease. If suspending from a roof beam, the wire would feed over the beam and through the loop end. The other end of the wire would then feed through one side of the zinc Gripple Standard Hanger fastener, through or round the object to be suspended and then back through. The Gripple Standard Hanger with Loop End Fixing system is sold as a kit, and is generally bagged up in 10’s. A set of 10 would go into a Gripple printed bag, and into Gripple logo outer cartons.
