- Description
- Testifire-XTR2-9M-001 is a device used to test smoke, heat and multi-sensor fire detector systems in accordance with national fire safety regulations. This device contains a sensor system with feedback to determine when the fire detector has successfully been tested and inform the user. Synthetic smoke is produced by heating a coil which heats the smoke liquid to a vapour which is then blown into the detector for testing of smoke. For the heat, heat is generated by battery power which generates heat in the cup and in turn activates the heat detector to alarm. The kit consists of a head unit, capsule, battery and charger, telescopic access poles 9 metres, detector removal tool and large carry bag. Accessories in this kit enable the user to reach up to 9 metres with telescopic access poles and remove detectors with the removal tool The Testifire-XTR2-9M-001 is designed to test for both smoke and heat, both in isolation but also in combination, selectable by the user. It is a test device that delivers controlled levels of stimulus whilst monitoring the detectors status using the fire detectors LED to determine if the the test has been successful. The equipment is constructed from a mixture of technical polymers (33% Polypropylene and 30% ABS by volume), PCBA's and their associated components and is packaged in a cardboard shipping carton.
