Description
3D printer which uses filaments made from polymers, but can also use speciality filaments to make PET-carbon fibre. The machine heats up the filament and melts the material and extrudes through a nozzle, of which this can move to different positions to create the design which has been stored and controlled into the software. It creates the object by building up the layers. The printers are assembled with of the shelf components and the main case for the printer is made from aluminium frame with solid bamboo sides, powder coated stamped steel top and plastic backing. Is used by a diverse range (artists, heritage, architects, aerospace, and lighting industry. The vertices are protected using 8 Stratocell foam corners. The bed is held in place using a cardboard insert. Once boxed, the packages are strapped to hold the box intact.

Justification
