Description
An outdoor 100W monocrystalline solar panel system for the production of DC current. The panel is constructed of an aluminium frame with flat toughened glass glazing. A simple, cost-effective solar solution featuring a flat photovoltaic panel mounted directly to the top of the column. It is to power an LED product (not part of this application.) With a tilt angle optimised for the UK, the panel can be easily orientated on site to maximise solar absorption. Discharge Time 10-30 hours (using PIR) the product also includes a 12.8v integral lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) rechargeable (DC) battery and solar charge controller/infrared sensor. Battery life is 5-10 years, with a charge time 6-8 hours (with optimal sunny conditions.) The product is Weather resistant. Packaged in a box.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Also Classified in Accordance with: Harmonized System Explanatory Note (HSEN's) (II) to Heading 8501 Harmonized System Explanatory Note (HSEN's) (1) (f) to Chapter 94
