- Description
- An internal housing for a gas sensor. Made from stainless steel and to exact specifications the housing is used to contain the sensor in gas detectors. Its primary purpose is to allow gas detectors to be used in potentially explosive environments. The tamper proof steel housing opens allowing the sensor and electrical wiring to be enclosed and protected. The sensor casing is specifically designed for industry standard gas detectors for example fixed flameproof gas detectors which are used to determine and measure levels of gas present within the air.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect: – a. GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 902690 - Parts and accessories. Also classified in accordance with: Chapter notes 2b to Chapter 90.
