- Description
- The product is an AC drive, an electrically powered apparatus designed for the purpose of supplying power to motors which are attached to communications antennae. The motor driver receives control signals from a controller which dictates the desired position or movement of the antenna. The driver converts the control signals into appropriate electrical power and, on larger antennas, feedback. The driver continuously receives feedback about the motor's current position from the encoder. This information is compared to the desired position, and the driver makes real-time adjustments to adjust the position accurately. This closed-loop system helps maintain the antenna's orientation. The device comprises an electrical assembly within housing with various inputs and outputs on one side.
