Description
Equipment racks are freestanding framework structures, consisting of vertical posts and horizontal rails. They are used to mount telecommunications/RF equipment in a structured and accessible manner. By providing a vertical mounting structure, telecom racks optimize the use of floor space in equipment/ control rooms. The racks act as a framework for managing complex communication setups by helping to organize the telecom components in a standardized 19-inch rack format. The 19-inch rack standard refers to the width of the rack between the vertical mounting rails. This standardization allows for the integration of equipment from different manufacturers into a cohesive system. The height of the rack can vary depending on how much equipment it has to hold. The modular design makes it easy to add, remove, or replace equipment as needed, allowing for easier system upgrades, expansions or maintenance. The Equipment racks are built with strong, durable materials such as steel or aluminium to provide structural integrity and protect the equipment from physical damage. The rack promotes natural airflow, helping to dissipate heat generated by electronic components. Come with vented/ blanking panels or can be integrated with external HVAC systems to maintain optimal operating temperatures. The racks are packed in purpose built wooden crates.
