- Description
- A non-electric interior dehumidifier. A fragranced, interior dehumidifier designed to absorb moisture/humidity from the atmosphere. This action also reduces the formation of mould and fungus, from cupboards, rooms, boats, caravans. The product is based on 100% calcium chloride anhydrous beads, described as approx 200gms of varying sizes of bead of between 3-5mm. The product consists of a purpose made opaque polypropylene (PP) tub, with an internal perforated moulded tray. The beads themselves are initially loose under a foil cover. A removable lattice shaped plastic lid is then placed on the top. This stops any moisture activating the beads prior to sale. The colour of the lattice top denoted the type of fragrance. Once the foil lid is removed, the beads then begin absorbing any damp, moisture and condensation up to 500gms from rooms or cupboards in the home. The moisture is absorbed into the beads which then dissolve into a clear viscus liquid. This liquid drips through the perforations in the lower tray and collects into the base of the polypropylene (PP) tub to be disposed of safely. These tubs can be reused as they can be replenished with fresh beads. The beads can be purchased separately. Not the subject of this ATaR. Two tubs are shrink wrapped together with a printed sleeve of card describing the product, each unit has its own printed label wrapped around it. The fragrances currently available are, Berry, Citrus, Lavender, Sea Breeze and Vanilla.
