- Description
- The Carrier (formerly called Master Runner) is a cornerstone component in a curtains system. It has a steel body with 4 wheels and is used on UniTrack and UniBeam systems for the leading edge of curtains and it clamps the operating cord for corded and motorised systems. There is also a non-corded manual pull-along/walk-along option. For motorised systems, there is the option of including a limit striker; as the runner travels along the track, the limit striker makes contact with the limit switch which sends a command to the motor to stop. The Carrier has a safe working load of 50 kg. Two welded metal loops are placed 55 mm apart for attaching the leading edge of curtains. There are two variations of the Carrier for straight and curved track systems. These systems can be utilised in various spaces: theatres, media studios, schools, crematoriums or anywhere curtains are required. The Carrier is wrapped in recyclable plastic within a cardboard box with paper void fill; it is either sent individually or as part of the tracking system depending on customer needs. The greater system packaging is cardboard boxes, paper void fill, cardboard edging for the track and black wrap. Should the system be sent internationally, it will be sent in a wooden crate or on a pallet.
