Description
The Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G PSU supports simultaneous conversion between SDI and HDMI signals in any combination of SD, HD, or Ultra HD video formats, up to 2160p60. Each conversion direction functions independently, allowing the use of different formats in each direction. This effectively provides two separate converters within a single unit. The device features multi-rate 12G-SDI input and output connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional broadcast equipment, including devices that use level A and level B SDI formats. Automatic format detection is supported for all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards. The converter enables integration of HDMI consumer devices into SDI-based workflows. The HDMI input can be used to convert signals from consumer cameras or computers to 12G-SDI, while the SDI to HDMI path can be used for monitoring on HDMI displays such as televisions or projectors. The unit is housed in a durable all-metal enclosure, suitable for both fixed installations and mobile production environments. Its compact form factor allows for discreet placement in space-constrained setups. Power is supplied via USB-C or the included AC power adapter, which comes with international plug adapters for global compatibility.
