Description
Application Board (PCBA) designed specifically for robotic lawn mowers. These boards integrate microcontrollers, motor drivers, sensor interfaces, and communication modules to enable autonomous mowing and user interaction. The ‘Obstacle detection function’ has been not integrated onto the board. They are essential for the operational logic and safety systems of the mower. The Application Board PCBA is made from a combination of materials, including: Printed Circuit Board (PCB): Typically made from fiberglass-reinforced epoxy laminate material. Electronic Components: Such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, microprocessors, and connectors. The manufacturing process of the Application Board PCBA involves several steps: Design and Engineering: Creating detailed schematics and PCB layouts as per Husqvarna's specific drawings. PCB Fabrication: Manufacturing the PCB using fiberglass-reinforced epoxy laminate material. Component Placement: Placing electronic components onto the PCB using automated machines. Soldering: Soldering the components to the PCB to ensure electrical connections. Testing: Conducting functional tests to ensure the PCBA operates correctly and meets specifications. The Application Board PCBA works by providing the necessary electronic control and processing capabilities for the robotic lawn mower. It processes input from various sensors, controls the motors, and manages communication with the charging station and other components. The PCBA ensures that the mower operates efficiently and safely. The Application Board PCBA is typically packaged in anti-static bags to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge. The anti-static bags are then placed in protective boxes with necessary labels that include product information and handling instructions.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)). General interpretative rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 - Has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 8433 - Harvesting or threshing machinery, including straw or fodder balers; grass or hay mowers; machines for cleaning, sorting or grading eggs, fruit or other agricultural produce, other than machinery of heading 8437. GIR 5 (b) - Has been used to identify the type of packaging - Packaged in anti-static bags to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge. The anti-static bags are then placed in protective boxes. GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 8433 90 - Parts. Also Classified in Accordance with: Section Note 2(b) to Section XVI Harmonized System Explanatory Note (HSENs) (A) (1) to Heading 8433 - Parts
