- Description
- A Floor lamp by Thomaso Buzzi (1900–1981) who was a leading Italian architect and designer whose work shaped the landscape of 20th-century decorative arts. Celebrated for his refined, imaginative style. The floor lamp has been designed in multi-layered Alba glass with gold leaf application. Ribbed and tapered stem, divided into three parts by metal rings, on a circular metal base. Year 1933-38, height 160 cm. The work is presently in Italy and will shortly be transported to London to be offered at auction.
