- Description
- Dry bag. A dry bag, used to store a swimmers personal possessions whilst swimming in the sea or other. It can also be used as a temporary buoyancy aid for the swimmer lean on and rest for a short while. The bright neon orange bag is constructed of two heat sealed separate bladders, which are mouth inflated. It has 2 pockets (1 internal compartment, 1 external mesh pocket) which the bag can be folded into when not in use. There is also an attached whistle to attract attention if needed. Personal possessions are placed inside the bag; the opening is then closed and rolled over several times and secured to effect a seal from water ingress. The bag is then clipped tightly shut with a buckle. The bag is then securely strapped to the swimmer by a webbing harness around the waist and attached to the bag by means of a poly clasp, the bag trails behind in the water wake of the swimmer making them visible to floating craft and also rescue services as necessary. The measurements: waistband: Adjustable from 64 cm to 115 cm. Lanyard: Adjustable from 26 cm to 49 cm. Dimensions: Deflated: 75 x 41 x 2 cm - Inflated: 55 x 29 x 26 cm. Buoyancy 200 Newtons. Made from: Polyvinyl Chloride, Polyoxymethylene, Polyester, Polyamide. Packed in cardboard box of 16 pieces. No further packing materials. The product is not designed as a lifesaving aid.
