Description: A non-electric interior dehumidifier. An interior dehumidifier is designed to absorb moisture/humidity from the atmosphere. This action also reduces the formation of mould and fungus, from cupboards, rooms, boats, caravans. The product is based on 100% calcium chloride anhydrous beads, described as approx. 200gms of small beads. The product consists of a purpose made opaque polypropylene (PP) tub, with an internal perforated moulded tray. The beads themselves are initially loose under a textile cover, with a foil lid sealed to the top of the tub. A removable lattice shaped plastic lid is then placed on the top. This stops any moisture activating the beads prior to sale. Once the foil lid is removed, the beads then begin absorbing any damp, moisture and condensation from rooms or cupboards in the home. The moisture is absorbed into the beads which then dissolve into a clear viscus liquid. This liquid drips through the perforations in the lower tray and collects into the base of the polypropylene (PP) tub to be disposed of safely. The tubs are reusable, as they can be replenished with fresh beads. These beads can be purchased separately. The 3 tubs are shrink wrapped together with a printed sleeve of card describing the product. Each unit has a printed label on the top. Available in fragrances of Jasmin Gardenia Magnolia. The product is mainly supplied to the trade for onwards retail sale.

Description: A beacon receiver forms part of the ACS and is designed to receive signals from a satellite and provide tracking inputs to the Antenna Control System. Antennas are used to transmit or receive electromagnetic signals, and the position of the antenna can have a significant effect on its performance. A beacon signal is transmitted by the in-orbit satellite. The satellite signal is received through the antennas feed and low-noise amplifier then is generally split to provide an output to the beacon receiver. The beacon receiver interprets the received signal to determine the position of the satellite. This position command reference signal is fed into the antenna control unit. The indoor antenna control unit compares the signals from the position command and position sensor and gets the position error signal which is compared with the threshold value. If the error exceeds the threshold value, the outdoor antenna controller will make the command for the motors to move the antenna towards the direction to minimise pointing error, this will result in the beacon signals increasing, and improve the quality of the transmitted/received data . Once the error is lower than the threshold value, the outdoor antenna controller will control the motor to maintain the antenna position, the antenna can track the satellite automatically without manual intervention.
