Description: A survey trolley. Designed specifically to be used with surveying equipment in the RT range (sold separately) and used for lane surveying to obtain vehicle-to-lane measurements. The trolley accommodates the RT, a battery, laptop/computer and an inertial navigation system. The base contains an iron plate with a magnetic antenna pole which holds the GPS antenna. The high position of the GPS reduces interference and improves accuracy. There is an adaptor plate which is designed to allow the RT to be mounted in the correct position and to correspond with the front right wheel which is critical in obtaining accurate positions. The user moves the trolley along the road markings to obtain readings from where the front right wheel of the trolley has been. A trigger switch allows key positions to be marked when surveying.
