Parabolic antennas are highly sensitive to precise alignment as a smooth, well-formed parabolic surface is necessary to direct the radio waves precisely toward the focus point or to receive signals from a focused source. The design of the parabolic shape allows radio waves to be reflected to a single focal point where a feed antenna is located. If the surface is uneven or distorted, the reflected waves will not converge properly at the focus, leading to signal loss, reduced antenna efficiency, and poor communication performance. After the initial antenna installation, theodolites are used to inspect the symmetry of the reflector by measuring the angles and ensuring the surface curvature is formed exactly as required. If any part of the reflector is warped or misaligned, fine adjustments can be made to the panels to achieve the desired surface accuracy and ensure optimal signal performance. The theodolite is shipped within a purpose built protective hard case with foam insert.

The antenna unit consists of a receiving antenna and a preamplifier. Its basic function is to receive GPS satellite signals and convert the energy of the satellite signals into the corresponding amount of current. After the preamplifier, the weak GPS signal current is amplified and sent. After the preamplifier, the weak GPS signal current is amplified and sent. The frequency converter that the receiver can enter and perform frequency conversion can track and measure the signal. The main function of the receiver unit is to track, process and measure the signal power after amplification and variable frequency processing. It is mainly composed of a signal channel unit, a storage unit, a calculation and display control unit, and a power supply. The unit then generates time and frequency accurate signals such as IRIG and NTP time references and 10MHz and 1PPS frequency references.
