Description: Oil Separator are used in commercial refrigeration systems such as supermarket refrigeration packs. In most refrigeration systems, during compression of refrigerant gas oil is required to lubricate the moving parts within the compressor to prevent overheating. At the end of the compression cycle, the high pressure gas discharges from the compressor, mixed with oil in aerosol droplets. The function of an Oil Separator in a Refrigeration system is to efficiently remove this oil from the discharge gas from the compressor and return it to the compressor, either directly or indirectly. This helps maintain the compressor crankcase oil level and raises the efficiency of the system by preventing excessive oil circulation. An oil management system is a cost effective alternative to replacing expensive compressors due to incorrect lubrication. If selected and installed correctly, an oil management system will give years of trouble free operation, protecting the compressors from both low and excess oil levels, with little or no maintenance. Excessive oil within the system can lead to a slug of oil returning to the compressor. A slug of oil can be as damaging to a compressor as a slug of liquid refrigerant. By removing oil from the discharge gas, the system efficiency is increased. Oil in a refrigeration or air conditioning system reduces the efficiency of the system by: A reduction in heat transfer due to oil coating of the condenser and evaporator walls and by displacing refrigerant volume resulting in an increase in system mass flow. Oil does not change phase from liquid to gas and is therefore a very poor refrigerant. A minimal amount of oil flowing through the system is necessary to provide lubrication to valves, but a very small amount is needed. Consequently, an Oil separator is an essential component in any refrigeration system, to ensure efficient operation and long life.

Description: The Rear Triangular Trailer Reflector is fitted to the rear of any articulated road vehicle, for example semi-trailers and trailers or caravans. These reflectors can either be separate units or integrated into combination lamps. This Reflector is a standalone triangular shaped reflex reflector that has been designed to specifically meet this requirement and is approved for highway. The Rear Triangular Trailer Reflector comprises of two parts, the rear base moulding, which is made from injection moulded ABS or Polypropylene, or similar, colour of this part is generally black, but sometimes white and secondly the red reflector, which is made from injection moulded Polycarbonate or PMMA, or similar. These two parts are then permanently assembled together by means of ultrasonic welding or an adhesive. The Rear Triangular Trailer Reflector is permanently fitted to the semi-trailer, trailer or caravan by means of 2 rivets, bolts or screws through the two holes provided in the moulding. Alternatively, double-sided self-adhesive pads can be used for this purpose.
