Description: An Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) An unoccupied underwater robot that is connected to a vessel by a series of cables. The use of manipulators installed on the ROV in order to operate subsea tooling to install items of subsea infrastructure, such as pipelines, XMTs, rigging and derigging. The ROV is used in the oil and gas industry. The frame is aluminium and the buoyancy is a syntactic material.
