The camera simply captures a context image, plate patch and short video which are recorded on the enforcement system and not the camera as its not capable of holding data, however the recordings are stored temporarily on the processor before being encrypted into the evidence pack before being transferred securely by mobile broadband to the clients back office. The camera with IR has no modem, PC or other hardware enclosed. The camera can capture plate images up to 28 metres.
